Which Tablet Size Should You Buy?

As you can see in the market, there are lots of tablet sizes to choose from. Normally, there are 7-inch, 8-inch, 9-inch, 10-inch (10.1), or some have 13-inch or 15-inch super large screens.

However, not all the tablet sizes might be suitable for you. Then which size should you buy? You may think about this question from different angles.

Tablets for kids

For a kid, he/she would usually use the tablet for light entertainment: such as watching animations, or playing games, or some might use it for study. So you can choose the tablet PC by considering the following things for different people:

• A Cheap Tablet: As you can imagine, kids might break the devices in their hands easily. You need a cheap tablet, so you will not worry too much when it breaks.
• A Portable Tablet: You might not need to consider a 13 or bigger tablet, as that size is too big for a kid. The small sizes, such as 7-inch, and 8-inch tablets would be great choices for kids. But we would suggest a 10-inch tablet because it would be more enjoyable for them to watch fun videos.
• A Clear Tablet: Children's eyes are fragile, it might have bad effects on their eyes if you choose a low-definition tablet. You might need at least a 1280*800 pixel definition display tablet.

Tablets for seniors

For old parents, they might need a tablet for reading/listening to ebooks, watching movies, and browsing news:

• Loud Speakers: If you give them a tablet with dual/loudspeakers, it would be very convenient for them to listen to music, ebooks, and news.
• Large Screen: We are not talking about a 15-inch tablet as that might have killed the portable feature of a tablet. A 10/10.1-inch tablet would be a wonderful choice for seniors. As many of them have presbyopia, they need large fonts, and clear screen tablets for them to read easily.

Tablets for students/office staff

These kinds of people would mostly use the tablet for document creation, viewing, or editing. What's more, they may play games a lot for daily relaxation.

• A Large Tablet: One of the main reasons for the popularity of tablet computers is the larger screen than mobile phones. A 10-inch touchscreen tablet would be a wonderful choice for you, or even a 13-inch or larger one if you do not carry the tablets with you most of the time.
• Strong Hardware: You would be crazy if you still chose a 1GB RAM tablet for games playing. Strong hardware is the key to ensuring a fluent user experience even doing multiple tasks at the same time.
• High Definition: Many students or workers may use a tablet for PPT or work sharing, so a high-definition tablet display would make your job more outstanding.
